I'm Carl Sommer. I'm a designer. I hope that's clear from the header. Here's a few things about me:
I was born in the Philippines. I lived there until I was eight. I studied abroad in England for six months and I taught English, basic computer skills and design software for three months in Cambodia.
Some things that have influenced and inspired me over the years include:
- Art & history museums.
- Lord of the Rings and Pixar films.
- Skateboarding.
- Flowers and architecture.
- Video games, notably Warcraft III, Pokemon, the Elder Scrolls series and Portal.
Some non-professional goals I have include teaching others whenever there is a need for my skills, being involved with diverse communities and keeping up to date with technology trends.
